A System Configuration Specialist is required for our client based in South Yorkshire, for an initial 6-month contract. This is a hybrid position, with ideally around 1-2 days per week on site (there is potential for flexibility for candidates based further afield).

Successful candidates must have NEC Housing system configuration experience.

Service Requirements

The role is for a System Configuration Specialist to provide knowledgeable recommendations for optimum configuration of the NEC Housing system to meet business requirements and carry out build activity, in particular relating to the following modules:

• Allocations
• Housing Online
• Asset Management
• Estates and Voids

This role will also provide quality assurance of build activities, module configuration and design decisions. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of experience and competence to perform this role autonomously in a manner that will guarantee that module builds are achieved by project deadlines.

The System Configuration Specialist role is expected to cover:

• Understanding of business requirements and ability to convert these into module build
• Detailed knowledge of NEC Housing module capabilities
• Recommendation and implementation of best practice configuration and build
• Validation of existing build decisions and challenging these where appropriate
• Working closely with the project team and the supplier NEC Housing to achieve positive outcomes
• Linking with the testing workstream to ensure feedback is captured and documented
• Building a library of documentation to record configuration decisions and specifications
• Liaise with the environments workstream to ensure configuration and build is applied to correct environments during build/test/train cycles

Desirable;

Knowledge and experience of creating GPI modules, developing reports and building dashboards in NEC Housing would be an advantage.

Knowledge and experience of migration from Abritas system into NEC Housing.

Knowledge of a holistic housing service and how NEC Housing as a system can support and improve ways of working.
