HR Service Delivery Manager
HR Service Delivery Manager - Edinburgh (hybrid working)
Our Public Sector client is offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Service Delivery Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contact Basis.
The purpose of this role
- Provide appropriate, timely and accurate support and advice to the business and HR colleagues on people systems, administration issues and pensions
- Manage the HR Administration function and team
- Monitor performance against HRU SLAs and KPIs, delivering good customer service, maximising process efficiency and reducing waste
- Work closely with HR colleagues and managers to resolve and learn from complex issues and complaints related to HR Service Delivery
- Oversee all HR Administration processes associated with the employee life cycle - ensuring compliance with statutory requirements/employment legislation
- Assign clear process owners and effective work and query allocation & management, streamlined and automated work flows and customer focused forms and guidance
- Manage absence management & entitlement processes such as sickness, unpaid special leave, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave
- Support the HR Administration Team in managing the Time and Attendance system and processes such as annual leave year end
- Support implementation of annual exercises, such as Pay Award, support People (HR) Systems delivery, system upgrades and annual financial accounts
- Work with HR colleagues on regular reviews of terms and conditions ensuring all template letters and documentation issued by the HR Administration team are accurate, consistent and up to date with current policies and employment legislation
- Work with the Strategic Partner: HR Operations to manage HRU complement to support the approved organisational structure, headcount and budget
- Oversee the development, submission and analysis of information from people systems via appropriate reporting services as and when required
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Possesses a range of excellent verbal and written communication skills including facilitation, report-writing, presentation and news articles
- Skilled in working at pace and managing competing work priorities, with the ability to work accurately and flexibly
- Skilled in developing effective relationships with customers, query management and resolution of complex issues
