Systems Analyst - Financial Services

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of the existing application estate, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document system requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of application functionalities.
• Assess and analyse applications for compatibility and suitability for migration to cloud platforms.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to the application estate, providing effective and efficient solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define business processes and system requirements for cloud migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement strategies for seamless application migration to the cloud.
• Provide expertise in traditional systems analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to cloud migration.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst with a focus on application estate analysis.
• Experience in cloud migration projects, particularly with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of industry-standard tools and frameworks for systems analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex systems and processes.
• Knowledge of traditional systems analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Experience in identifying and troubleshooting issues related to application estates.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and understanding of cloud migration principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to document and communicate complex technical information.
