Power Platform Developer

1 year fixed term contract - £66k - £72k - 1 or 2 days per week from London

Our London based public sector client have an immediate requirement for a Power Platform Developer to join on a 1-year fixed term contract. We are looking for an Developer not only proficient in Power BI but also in other components in the Power Platform stack, such as Dataverse, Power Automate, Canvas/Model driven applications.

Key duties for the Power Platform Developer:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement customised Power Apps solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient Power Platform solutions.
  • Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business users. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the reporting process.
  • Utilise Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows across different systems and applications. Integrate Power Platform applications with other business systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Administer and manage the Dataverse environment, including Datamodelling, entity customisation, and security settings to maintain data integrity and accessibility.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to Power Platform applications

Mandatory experience required for the Power Platform Developer:

  • Proven commercial experience as a Power Platform Developer, with a focus on Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven apps development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience in building complex workflows using Power Automate.
  • Experience in customising and configuring Dataverse (formerly known as Common Data Service).
