Senior Cloud Consultant (Nutanix) - Remote - OutsideIR35

£400 - £425 per day (OutsideIR35)

Fully Remote

You will work with customers to understand their cloud journey and design scalable, robust, innovative solutions to meet customer needs. You will also work within the team to help define the Technical Architecture for shared service platforms and be engaged in deployment activities.

Technical Skills/Experience

• Nutanix solutions, working with clustering and management tools, ideally on Lenovo and Supermicro
• Storage and backup technologies, solutions and trends, including SAN, NAS based on knowledge of technology principles and vendor offerings.
• Server technologies, solutions and trends, including best practices and sizing.
• Virtualization solutions based on VMWare and Hyper-V
• Trends in cloud solutions such as migration to cloud, services in the cloud (PAAS, SAAS) and knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, ideally with practical experience of these
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and RHEL
• Knowledge of migration approaches with experience
• Knowledge of backup technologies, industry trends, best practices and design principles
• Knowledge of ITIL, and service best practice/operations
• Active Directory and associated Windows features, with experience of design/deployment
• Deployment of technologies above, experience of this within at least; ability to get hands on with equipment, including racking and cabling to good standards
