Job details:

• Design & Development of hydraulic hoses and pipes, the associated brackets and the brakes PWWI components for a selected range of passenger vehicles
• Experience in Design and Development of Casting, Forging, and sheet metal components.
• Experience in CATIA V5, 3D Experience and Team Centre.
• Prepare Engineering Specifications to define requirements in terms of cost, weight, performance, durability, etc.
• Working with the wider engineering team, take responsibility for Coordinating the design, analysis and development activities for a given Chassis system components.
• Progress the design through the project gateways to ensure that parts are released on time to support DVP activities and production launch.
• Manage suppliers of components for prototypes, development and production, including hosting meetings and issuing meeting minutes.
• Problem solving and issue resolution to maintain the project timing.
• Work to agreed project quality procedures and validation processes.
• Presenting clear and reasoned status reports to internal and external customers.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels
• Experience of delivering technical products through a team, utilising strong people management skills.
• Experience of delivering projects in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
