Location - London/Watford (4 days per week + 1 day remote)
Oakleaf have partnered with a global retail organisation who have over 500 stores across 10 different countries, and they're currently seeking an IT Business Relationship Manager to joing their rapidly growing envrinoment.
You will act as the liaison between the technical services team and our internal development team, gathering information from the various communication channels and ensuring that this information is shared with the relevant people within Technical Services. You are expected to be a bridge that works towards bringing clarity to the rapidly changing environment and documenting key information in a way that is digestible for the wider team.
In this role there is a strong reliance on communication and the ability to build relationships with people. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable collaborating with other departments and understanding where wider discussions with other members of the team is required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our internal development teams to gather essential information.
- Regular conversations with sub departments within technical services
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical services and development.
- Analyse and document information from discussions, translating it into digestible and useful updates to be shared with technical services or the development teams.
- Help build and promote a culture of collaboration and open communication between development teams and technical services.
- Communicate with the wider business and represent technical services' plans and goals
- Build and maintain a feedback process to review and improve communication.
- Create and maintain reports that offer valuable insights from information gathered to raise when meetings or action is required.
- Tracking progress of projects being led by development, providing regular updates and highlighting resource requirements.
- Proactively engage with development teams to obtain detailed insights regarding upcoming features, changes and updates.
- Help shape technical services' goals and objectives with the broader business strategy.
- Assist with speaking with stakeholders to provide updates about ongoing projects within technical services.
