Platform Engineer

A rapidly growing health tech company is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join their growing team. You will play an integral role in maintaining and expanding their innovative platform which is being used by other healthtechs across the globe.

In this position, you will:

• Collaborate on infrastructure strategies to support expansion into thousands of clients
• Build and enhance platform capabilities using PHP and Vue.js to optimise functionality
• Lead upgrades, security patches, and observability improvements to ensure continuous reliability
• Monitor performance and scalability, optimising systems to match growth
• Participate in on-call rotation for rapid incident response

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience in an AWS cloud role
• A development background
• Expert Linux administration skills (Amazon Linux experience preferred)
• Proficiency with AWS including RDS, VPC, ELB, and other services
• Skilled in performance optimisation for PHP/JavaScript
• Automation expertise with Bash, Python, etc.
• Sharp attention to detail and passion for innovation
