IT Support Specialist
Robert Half have partnered with a global brand to recruit an IT Support Specialist to join an established Service Desk. Responsible for 1st and 2nd line end-user hardware and software support, with great exposure to O365 administration and supporting local network infrastructure and server systems.
Permanent role paying up to £35,000. Based near Witney office and hybrid working available (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
The Role
You will act as the face of IT, with customer service at the forefront of everything you do.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setup, upgrade and support IT hardware (laptops, devices, printers)
- Ensure IT equipment comply with company standards and security protocols
- Active Directory administration and related services (DNS, DHCP, NPS, File/Print, GPO)
- Onboarding new users, deliver IT training
- Triage and troubleshoot system issues including network, server and application
About You
- Proven customer service experience
- Previous experience working on an IT Service Desk
- Good understanding hardware, software and troubleshooting abilities (O365, AD, Windows OS)
- Understanding of ITIL
- Strong knowledge of managing tickets through ITSM tool
