Azure Lead Developer - CI/CD pipelines, IaaS,PaaS and SaaS - Familiarity with DevOps and Agile

My client, an insurance organisation in London is looking for a permanent Azure Lead Developer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
• Design, code, and test Azure solutions
• Lead and mentor a development team to ensure high-quality solutions
• Ensure Azure solutions are built to best practices and standards, and are secure and scalable
• Stay current with new features and capabilities in the Azure and cloud platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Azure estate
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to management
• Line management of a team of developers
• Contribute to the design authority and help grow it into a Cloud Centre of excellence
• Collaborate and provide oversite to MSP and delivery Third parties
• Collaborate with the QA function to ensure Quality is implemented throughout the SDLC
• Assist the IT Delivery manager with refining and improving the SDLC

Key Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Azure and cloud technologies
• Extensive experience in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong technical skills in Azure technologies, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
• Strong experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining applications on Azure using CI/CD pipelines and Release pipelines
• Proven track record of leading a team of developers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in delivering projects on-time and within budget.
• Understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization in the cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps Test Driven Development Release management and Agile methodologies, Branching Strategies, Version Control processes
• Experience in using Azure Devops, Kubernetes, Container technologies and other CI/CD tools
• Excellent leadership and experience in project management and Agile delivery.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and privacy.
• Good understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet them.
• Experience In using different version control tools and branching strategies
• Experience with designing, Consuming and implementing API's using Microsoft integration Tools
• Experience in different web technologies Rest, Soap, WebApi's
• Experience with using IaaS, PaaS,SaaS
• Experience with Scripting, Microsoft and Other Development Technologies; C#, powershell,Java, PHP
