Linux Automation Engineer - vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing, maintaining and providing third-level support for enterprise-class software and hardware in our Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
• Ensuring activities are undertaken in accordance with the company's high security standards in alignment with corporate policies, release and change management
• Incorporating resilience practices such that solutions are adequately protected and able to be sustained during times of adversity

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years of work experience in SME in Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration with hands-on experience in automation using Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Expertise with code management solutions, in particular GIT and CI/CD tools
• Strong knowledge of Systems monitoring, ideally CheckMK and Prometheus
• Solid background in Systems management and provisioning using Red Hat Satellite and Capsules
• Consistent track record in provision of third-level support and design input along with broad understanding of ITIL fundamentals and their application in a business environment
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
