We are looking for one "DATA SCIENTIST" to start ASAP an initial 6 months contract (extensions possible) for an international Org' - client in BRUSSELS.

Working arrangement: Hybrid work (remote and onsite), where the selected candidate must reside either at this location or within a reasonable proximity (max. 2 hours) that allows for the satisfactory execution of their duties). Possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability. English speaking environment. Our client is an international organisation and a great reference in any CV!

TASKS

• Understand and support the use of containerisation technology and Kubernetes in the context of SSA (Safety and Security Analytics) as well as technologies used around (ie. Kafka).
• Develop prototypes and demonstrate added value of the SSA models and analytic solutions (including those created by the other SSA users).
• Support business users on chosen models and solutions exploration and use.
• Research the newest and most efficient ways to build SSA models and analytic solutions.
• Manage and support experimentations for the SSA platform in order to further progress and development from both analytics and IT perspectives (continuously trying and testing new solutions, DS libraries, etc.).
• Be up to date with the advanced analytics industry evolution. with vendor product offerings and analytics technologies and increasing awareness of these into the organization, support designing, organising and monitoring of the SSA entire Real Time workflow.
• Coordinate projects with various stakeholders (client business and IT teams, subcontractors' teams, COTS providers, Member States' representatives, etc.).
• Produce and/overview SSA related documents and reports.

The consultant will be provided with a laptop by the client, to be returned when the delivery of services will end.
