Mobile Developer - Flutter. SOLE AGENT

Our client, a large charity, require a talented Mobile Developer skilled at Flutter and Dart, to join their team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications, with a primary focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly, and performant mobile interfaces that delight our client's users. You will also be able to assist in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days in the office a week.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

Essential

• Proven experience as a Mobile/Web Engineer with a focus on Flutter and Dart.
• Familiarity with state management patterns in Flutter (eg, Provider, Bloc, Redux).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming in Dart/Flutter
• Proficiency in creating stateful & stateless widgets and using Dart packages and plugins.
• Strong knowledge of Dart language features and best practices.

Desirable:

• Experience with other mobile development frameworks (eg, React Native, NativeScript).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (eg, Flutter Testing Framework)
• Awareness of coding for accessibility and SEO.

What will you be doing:

• Mobile Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Dart code for our Flutter-based mobile applications.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into functional elements, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience, and collaborating with designers to refine and enhance the visual aspects of the application.
• Performance Optimisation and Responsive Design: Implement best practices to optimise mobile applications for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth animations. Create responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes, optimizing the user experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
• Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the mobile apps. Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications, identify and resolve bugs and issues, and continuously improve the quality of the codebase.
• Collaboration and Version Control: Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to integrate mobile apps with Server Side APIs and drive successful project outcomes. Utilize version control systems (eg, Git) for code management and collaborate effectively with team members using collaborative tools (eg, Azure DevOps, Teams).
• Technical Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of projects, including architectural designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
