London Based Investment Bank seek a contract Application Support Engineer, full time in the office. Commodities IT Support ( Which is mainly Front Office support but also Middle/Back/Finance/Regulatory/Confirmation Support. Ideally Python or other programming skills, relational database and SQL skills are required. Windows infrastructure/Servers - essential. Good knowledge of script languages (Powershell ) and Windows environment. Your experience will include front to back process. Knowledge on commodities/PNL/Pricing is a plus. The desk provides liquidity and market-making services across commodity markets to a large and diversified base of clients worldwide. Products include Base and Precious Metals, Oil, European and North American Power and Natural Gas, Coal, Emissions and Agricultural Commodities. As a member of the team, support the global commodities in house platform, critical for front-to-back functionality including pricing, risk management, market data sharing, p&l reporting, settlements, physical scheduling, trade confirmations and regulatory reporting. £500-625 per day Inside IR35/Umbrella Rate. Full time in the office Shift work: 7.30-5/8.30-6/10.30-7.30. Full time Office attendance/weekend work (once a month) - done from home (paid overtime)
