Infrastructure Lead Consultant (Backup & Restore)- 6months + - Remote & Germany - Start January

For our international client in Germany, we are currently looking for an experienced Lead Consultant Infrastructure with focus in backup and restore.
Your main task is to support the client in a project which focuses on designing effective IT disaster recovery and back up strategies and to standardise the backup process.
The client has already done an RFP and has now started the proof of concept phase.

Tasks:
* Act as Lead Consultant/SME for Infrastructure backup and restore project
* Support design of an effective IT disaster recovery and backup strategy
* Support client in proof of concept phase
* Lead and guide team in implementation of new strategy
* Support team in defining architecture
* Work closely with internal team of Architects and Operations Team

Requirements:
* Strong experience as Infrastructure Lead Consultant/SME
* Strong project experience in backup, restore & archiving projects (Data, Documents, Applications, Database)
* Technical project experience/understanding of: IBM/TSM, Rubrick and/or Cohesity
* Nice to have: Experience with SAP Backup & Azure
* Overall experience in WAN/LAN connectivity, cloud environments and VMWare
* Project experience in large scale & multi-cloud environments
* Fluency in English

Project details:
* Start: January 2024
* Duration: 6 months (+ option to extend)
* Workload: 5 days per week
* Location: Mainly Remote, Onboarding on site in Germany (potentially some Workshops in Germany throughout contract)
* Languages: Fluency in English
