Role: Workplace Integration Engineer

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: up to £50k basic (10k MoD DV clearance bonus)

We are looking for a Workplace Integration Engineer proficient in Powershell and Python to join an organisation working on mission critical MoD projects. As a result, the right candidate must either have, or be able to attain an MoD DV; YOU MUST BE A SOLE BRITISH NATIONAL AND HAVE LIVED IN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS.

You will be responsible for taking product configuration design and packaging it - enabling the re-deployment of one or more software packages in an automated and verifiable way. The right candidate will own the delivery of work packages right from design, to prototyping, to roll out, ensuring it is fit for purpose.

This person will also maintain and deliver the work package being involved in early life support, creating/maintaining support and design documentation. As a result, the right candidate will have the below skills:

Desired skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows System Administration in an enterprise environment
• A working knowledge of Active Directory, PKI, VMWare Virtualisation, Windows Server 2019, creation of gold builds, GPOs
• Powershell and Python for Scripting, automation and/or test creation
• Ideally, configuration and automation using Ansible, Terraform
