Senior Data Architect - Modeller

• Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Preston, Frimley, Glasgow or Bristol)

• Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + 10% bonus + excellent benefits

What you'll be doing:

• Analysing and translating business needs, creating coherent conceptual, logical and/or physical data models for relevant domains

• Creating and maintaining the enterprise level business information model, Datamodelling standards, tooling and model repository management, and contributing to, guiding, and assuring logical and physical data models for new systems, models, and similar

• Support the Enterprise Data Architect in the creation, realization, and management of an end-to-end data architecture

• Support the Enterprise Data Architect to articulate the benefits of strong data foundations - specifically in relation to Datamodelling

• Act in advisory capacity to functions (non-data specialists), increasing their knowledge of data models, value and benefits

• Work with other architects and data specialists to ensure the data definitions and models are coherent and well-integrated with other architectures and wider business needs

Your skills and experiences:

• Experience in data/information modelling

• Experience in data architecture/analysis/engineering or equivalent roles

• Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and challenges of applying structured techniques (Datamodelling) to less-structured sources

• Technical leadership eg acting as a Technical Authority
