CONTRACT OPPURTUNITY FOR AN SC-CLEARED SCADA ENGINEER

  • Must hold SC clearance to start.
  • Initial 12-months
  • £400-£530 Outside
  • 3 days a week on-site

What you will be doing:

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and apply Control Systems Engineering techniques on strategically important National Defence Programmes. Join our Control Systems Software team and contribute your expertise in delivering software design and development for maritime control and instrumentation

Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and comprehensive technical documentation following company and customer procedures.
  • Design and specify effective solutions for SCADA control systems.
  • Develop PLC software using various design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts, or Pseudo Code.
  • Validate software designs through thorough analysis and testing.
  • Adhere to company standards of conduct and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and integrating large-scale SCADA Control Systems.
  • Proven experience working with Siemens or Rockwell SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with Fault Tolerant, High Availability, and Safety Integrated PLC Solutions.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards.
  • Degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline (eg, C&I engineering, Systems engineering).
