Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an experienced DevSecOps Integration Manager/Delivery Lead to join a project with a client the Consumer Goods industry.

We are looking for a DevSecOps Integration Manager/Delivery Lead who will be responsible for bridging the gap between development, security, and operations teams in an organization. This role focuses on integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline to ensure that software is developed and deployed with security in mind from the outset.

DevSecOps Integration/Delivery Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or IT security.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing security practices within DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Professional certifications in security and DevOps (eg, CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in software development, DevOps, and information security.
  • Proficiency in automation and Scripting languages (eg, Python, Shell, PowerShell).
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices, security assessment tools, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Security Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, including code reviews, static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
  • Security Best Practices: Promote security best practices, including secure coding standards, threat modelling, and secure architectural design, to development teams.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automated security testing and validation scripts to ensure security is an integral part of the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Incident Response: Assist in developing and maintaining incident response plans and procedures for security-related incidents within the DevOps environment.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Work on continuous improvement initiatives to meet evolving compliance requirements.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to development and operations teams on security concepts and best practices.
  • Security Awareness: Foster a culture of security awareness and ownership within the organization.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of security integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and security audits of development and deployment pipelines and provide recommendations for improvement.
