Job Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Full Stack Software Developer to enrich our digital technology team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting a robust management portal. This role is for someone not just a proficient in software development, but also an artistic touch in UI/UX design, coupled with a deep understanding of both hardware and software API integration.
As our Full Stack Developer, your expertise with various databases and third-party APIs will be crucial. You will actively engage in the full software development life cycle, from analysing initial stakeholder requirements to the deployment and continuous enhancement of the management portal.
This role offers the opportunity to significantly shape our technical direction and foster innovation within the company.
Responsibilities:
. Help architect and launch a scalable management portal for internal and external stakeholders.
. Craft user-friendly client interfaces for performance analytics, live webcam feeds, and integration with our ticketing systems.
. Construct and manage secure APIs, interfacing with internal and external systems.
. Lead software development projects from conception through to execution, working closely with the Director of Digital Technology.
. Adhere to cybersecurity best practices and maintain compliance with the latest industry standards.
. Provide consistent support and improvements post-deployment of the management portal.
Qualifications:
. A portfolio demonstrating full stack web development.
. Proficient in Python, JavaScript, React, PHP, HTML, CSS, Node.js
. Knowledge of C#, ASP. NET & Bash, would be advantageous with extensive experience in both client-side and Server Side development.
. Robust experience with hardware/software API integrations and SQL database design, implementation, and management (experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar is a plus).
. Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and secure coding.
. UX/UI design experience is highly advantageous.
. Strong project management skills
Preferred Experience:
. Practical experience with IoT device management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
. Excellent communication skills. Both technical and non-technical.
. Background in or familiarity with the out-of-home advertising industry is a bonus.
