Skills - Must Have:
As a QA Automation Engineer,
- Testing expertise to innovative product testing and reporting to clients
- Work on projects with robust automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Actively participate in the QA Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and skills.
- Assist with specification writing, sprint planning, and coaching junior engineers.
- Ensure sprint quality and collaborate closely with developers.
- Automation Tester with Cucumber BDD tests for E2E tests
- Must have excellent Selenium experience.
- Will be working closely with leads across the Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) Profession to champion quality
- Must come from a development background.
- Strong experience in Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Implementation, and Defect Reporting and Tracking.
- Experience in Java/REST APIs/Selenium/AWS/ETL/DevOps.
- Experience in ETL.
- Experience in web services automation testing.
- Experience in Automating Web-based applications - Java, Docker, Web Application.
- Java background - Java/DepOps/Microservices.
- Must have a consulting background.
- CI/CD
- Advanced ISEB/ISTQB certification.
Qualifications
- Proficient in automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber) and CI/CD tools.
- Skilled in writing tests with Object-Oriented languages (Java, C#, JS, Python).
- Experience in UI and API test automation.
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and version control (git, svn).
- Agile team collaboration (Scrum, Kanban).
Additional assets:
- Expertise in non-functional testing (security, performance).
- Strong sense of UI/UX design and accessibility.
- Testing across various platforms (desktop, mobile).
