Network IT is currently recruiting for an IT Security Consultant, to join our client based in Kidderminster on a remote basis.

The Role:
The business provides strategic and assurance services to their customers, acting as impartial advisors on IT/Cyber security strategy. This role will be working in a consultancy capacity to face customers, and work with them collaboratively on Security Assessments, Roadmaps, Incident Response Tabletop Exercises, Cyber Awareness Training, Audits and much more.

As an IT Security Consultant, you'll be trusted to work with the customers on these projects, to support them in their overall IT/Cyber Security journey, identifying key areas for improvement and then acting as the lead consultant to deliver services, products and reviews. You'll cover key areas of cyber and information security, such as Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, NIST, SOC, Penetration Testing and more.

There will be a high level of autonomy in this role, and trust to allow you to work thoroughly with customers, achieving great results and long lasting relationships.

Package:

• Basic Salary range £50-60k per annum

Key Skills:

• Strong background in IT/Cyber Security
• Comfortable working in a consultancy, or customer facing capacity
• Cyber Essentials Assessor certified, or driven to achieve CE/CE+ certification rapidly
• Security Audits and Implementation
• CISM or CISSP qualification
• Knowledge of the likes of ISO27001/NIST/NIS/SWIFT CSCF
• Penetration testing experience or knowledge
