Data Recovery and Backup Manager
Job Description:
This role is part of the Data Protection & Recovery (DPR) Programme team, leading Test Strategy, Test Planning & Test Resourcing. You will work closely with other DPR Programme Workstream Leads and Business, Operations and Central Test teams, and third parties, to deliver Testing for the DPR Programme. You will be the main DPR programme point for contact for all things Testing ensuring DPR is following and evidencing Test policies, procedures and tooling.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Test leadership of complex and strategical important programme implementations.
Stakeholder Management across IT, Business and Operations functions, and third-party suppliers.
As Test Champion, create Test awareness across the programme and stakeholders.
Progress Test Strategy, aligned to Banks' Test Framework and Test Methodology.
Create and own Test Plan and contribute to the overall Programme Integrated Plan.
Analyse and document Test Requirements by liaising with programme leads, multiple stakeholders and distributed functions.
Create Test Reports and Test Metrics to drive delivery and report status clearly.
Management of full Test Life Cycle (Planning, Preparation, Specification, Execution, Test Closure and Sign Off) applying a defined Test Framework to a complex programme.
Advocate Project Financial awareness in Test, contributing to the overall programme cost planning and cost management.
Plan and co-ordinate Non-Functional Testing (NFT), including Installation, Performance, Resilience, Scalability, Recoverability, Interoperability, Alert & monitoring.
Liaise with third parties for oversight of Penetration Testing phases.
Identify and Manage Test related Action and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Understand and apply Test Management tools (manual and automated) within a hardware and software application environment aligned to Bank preferred tool set.
Engage and negotiate with vendors (as appropriate) to ensure adequate resources are available during various testing phases of the programme.
Liaise with team members to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule.
