Electronic Assembler - SECOND SHIFT
Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) with company match.
The Electronic Assembler will work under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor to assemble, inspect, refurbish, and test electronic equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic and mechanical assembly of high quality computer peripherals, such as single user Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) Switches and Environmental Monitoring products.
- Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal.
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class.
- Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions.
- Control inventory by following proper purchasing and reorder procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive electronic assembly with hand/electrical tools on a repetitive basis.
- Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship.
- Performs other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed.
- Candidate may also be required to test finished equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of electronic/mechanical processes and terminology
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic soldering and de-soldering with a hand held soldering equipment is a plus
- Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Quality minded approach to work.
