Our customer is currently searching for a Milan-based SAP Retail Support Consultant. As part of the roll out of the SAP solution our customer needs to reinforce the SAP Application maintenance team to support Retail Back Office processes on their SAP FMS and CAR solutions. Please note that the client is looking for local candidates without having to commute too far/stay in a hotel (for more flexibility in the project).

Responsibilities:

Support services in the Retail Back Office domain with AMS (Application Maintenance Services) factory & regional application hubs

As part of maintenance you will be in charge of:

o Gather business requirements for change requests

o Deliver/review change request functional specifications

o Follow up build factory deliveries

o Review & contribute to the testing of the change + support business' UAT

Act as level 3 escalation when AMS (L2) will need functional support

Help AMS to implement best practices monitoring & alerting processes

Competences:

5+ years' experience in Retail and distribution (ideally FMS, AFS, Retail, CAR)

Fashion/retail industry experience

Implementation experience of integration between SAP and non SAP solutions (POS Systems, Distribution)

ABAP debugging skills and interaction skills with the build factory

Knowledge of ticketing solutions for application support (eg Jira)

Fluent English (Italian is a bonus)

Duration: ASAP until mid 2024+ extension

Location: Milan, 2-3 days/week onsite (travels to either location max. once/month, per diem)

Utilization; 5 days/week

Languages: English (Italian is a Bonus)
