Growing commodities brokerage firm seeks ambitious, hardworking individual to act as a trade assistant/Middle Office operations support for its growing team of brokers, serving various commodity markets. Position Responsibilities:

• Support brokers on multiple brokerage desks with trade execution and administration.
• Maintain customer information for transaction, billing and regulatory purposes.
• Ensure daily and monthly reports (both internal and regulatory) are completed and address any issues that may arise.
• Ensure documentation on processes is kept up to date.

Candidate Characteristics and Requirements:

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and ascertain priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Excel formula understanding as well as capabilities for mental arithmetic.
• High level of written and spoken English. Additional languages may be useful if there is an overlap with our markets.
• Any experience with Trayport, ICE and commodities markets will be deemed an advantage.
