Digital Forensic Analyst
A minimum 1+ years experience of experience required in Digital Forensic Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Digital Forensic Analysis: Perform thorough digital forensic examinations on various electronic devices, including computers, mobile devices, and storage media, to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence.
ISO 17025 Compliance: Ensure all digital forensic processes and procedures comply with ISO 17025 standards, including documentation, chain of custody, evidence handling, and reporting.
Evidence Collection: Collect digital evidence from crime scenes or electronic devices following best practices and maintaining a strict chain of custody to preserve the integrity of the evidence.
Data Recovery: Utilize specialized software and techniques to recover and extract digital data from damaged or encrypted storage devices.
Data Analysis: Analyze digital evidence using industry-standard forensic tools and methodologies to uncover relevant information, including file recovery, data carving, and timeline analysis.
Mandatory Skills:
Digital Forensic Analysts: 1 year (required)
Experience of working with ISO 17025
Bachelor's degree in computer science, digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Digital Forensic Analyst with a strong understanding of ISO 17025 standards.
Certification in digital forensics (eg, EnCE, CFCE, CCE, or similar) is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and file systems.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
