A long-established technology company, focusing on digital platforms and transformation within the insurance industry, are seeking a C Programmer to join their Development team.

Working within a multidisciplinary technology team, this role will involve both new development and support to their two leading database systems. The right person for this role will have a strong knowledge and project experience in C programming language, analytical and confident mindset, and the ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple teams.

The Role:

• Develop software to meet client requirements.
• Research and gain knowledge around the clients requirements to fully understand end goals.
• Work closely with the Client Support Manager as well as development teams.
• Participate in support services for the system.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team as required.

The Requirements:

• Proven experience in C programming language.
• Previous experience in a C Programmer, Developer, or similar role.
• Good working knowledge of SQL.
• Degree in computer science or similar is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours at times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK right to work, no sponsorship options available.

The Overview:

• Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
• Fulltime permanent position
• Hybrid options available: minimum 3 days in office
