PLEASE NOTE: This contract falls Inside IR35.
This is a hands-on role, requiring you to be comfortable with defining, designing and building prototype solutions to solve both business and security challenges.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in DLP, Microsoft Purview and data security best practices. My client need someone who can drive this area forward autonomously, with minimal direction, and challenge internal preconceptions constructively.
Responsibilities:
- Roadmap definition - prioritise DLP capability adoption/improvement based on business and security risks and needs.
- Business analysis - identify business challenges for which specific Purview features (eg Sensitivity Labels, Information Protection) might be appropriate solutions; then identify requirements, constraints and success criteria by engaging with relevant stakeholders and knowledge holders.
- Solution design and prototyping - design, document, prototype and test appropriate solutions, leveraging Purview if possible, to solve business challenges.
- Business transformation - socialise candidate solutions with business stakeholders, gather and respond to stakeholder feedback, and refine solutions accordingly.
- Change management - scale out solutions as appropriate, eg by submitting and representing Change Requests at Change Advisory Board, and preparing Service Transition documentation.
- Develop/refine relevant documentation
Required Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of having defined and executed a DLP strategy and/or roadmap
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of applying novel solutions to business and security challenges, using Microsoft Purview, in an enterprise setting.
