We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required a LoanIQ Project Manager- MUFG London Office - 3-4 days working onsite, the balance of time will be remote for one of their public sector Clients based in the UK.

Role and tasks

LoanIQ Project Manager

Must have at least 8-12 years LoanIQ experience

MUFG are looking for a proven Project Manager with extensive banking experience to lead LoanIQ project across MUFG Bank.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple project milestones to ensure a successful transition into the Production environment is achieved. The role will require working closely with all impacted teams across operational functions.

The successful candidate will need extensive delivery experience in Banking.

It would be beneficial if the candidate has:

. An understanding of Loans processing and Operations

. Delivery experience of Technical projects

. Experience of LoanIQ would be desirable but not essential

. Experience of delivering target operating models would also be desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must, and the candidate must have a well organised and structured approach to managing medium/large projects and working with senior C Suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for change management across MUFG's banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement, you will act and make decisions on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you.

Manage the full project life cycle adhering to management standard governance and best practice from project initiation to closure.
Where applicable deliver complex change projects from design through to build, deployment and handover to BAU.
Work with subject matter experts and the project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data input and future migration requirements.
Work closely with relevant business and key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
Create and maintain project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Prepare data input and migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details.
Understand project budgeting; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances, project plan baseline and change control and initiates corrective actions.
Maintain project status reports to stakeholders; coordinate and provide updates to steering committees; anticipate and react to change.
Identify & manage inter-dependencies with other projects as and when required.
Work closely with technology and business product owners in order to design and deliver fit for purpose solutions.
Produce management information surrounding project health and delivery of progress.
Plan, manage and escalate risks/issues in a timely fashion to determine priorities and feed end strategy, monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
Responsible for identifying resource demand and assigning responsibilities to ensure targets dates are achieved.
Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of the project deliverables.
Work closely with the central IBOR Programme PMO to ensure project governance and project delivery processes are aligned and there is a complete audit trail.

Skills and Experience:
Functional/Technical Competencies:
Proactive delivery of large multi-functional projects preferably across the Operations space.
Good knowledge of finance/operational functions and trade flows.
Relevant Experience proven track record delivering projects to financial institutions within time and budget.
Strong staff management and team organization.
Experience of demand and supply management.
Strong project delivery and deadline management.
Strong communication and leadership.
Experience in multiple delivery methodologies (waterfall & agile).
Clear understanding of change management in corporate environment.
Strong governance approach to delivery.
Experience of project management tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Professional Suite inc Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrable track record of managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships across diverse skill sets and across the international organisation.
Proven experience of managing budgets.
Experience with identifying project outputs and tracking delivery of business benefits.

Work Experience:
Experience of successfully leading full life cycle complex projects across the Operations space.
Demonstrable experience in multiple work stream delivery.
Investment banking industry experience.
Good working knowledge of the regulatory environment including regulatory reporting.
Understanding of different financial products including Fixed Income, derivatives, money markets and corporate lending.

Education/Qualifications:
Prince2 or APMP project management methodology and certification beneficial.
Finance/Economics/Mathematics or other numerical degree.
Excellent MS Project and MS Office skills.
