Linux Support Specialist | Hybrid (3 days in West London HQ) | £50,000

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Linux, preferably CentOS/RHEL.
  • Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting or other Scripting languages (eg, PERL, Python, PHP).
  • Competence in IP, HTTP, and DNS.
  • Experience with high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with large-scale web applications.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team and be self-sufficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Linux tools and Scripting for troubleshooting live production issues.
  • Manage hardware and software migration.
  • Provide first-line support and issue triage for client-side integrations across various platforms.
  • Install software and deliver on-site support to clients.
  • Participate in customer projects, assisting with the onboarding.

Please note that candidates must be independently authorised to work in the UK.

This role is office-based for 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
