Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: London
Hybrid: 50% Office/Remote
Salary: Up to £60k + bonus up to 15%

I am currently working with an insurance business who are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team. Here, you'll collaborate closely with the IT team to implement the new Enterprise Data Platform, while also contributing to data analysis and visualization for demonstrating business value.as well as focusing on strengthening analytics.

Your role, guided by the Data Analytics Manager, will involve defining strategic data requirements for data consumption use cases. You'll engage with various teams across the business to capture and prioritize requirements, leading to the deployment of efficient and automated analytics solutions.

Requirements:
Collaborate with the Data Analytics Manager to:
* Design and maintain critical information used by underwriters.
* Work with the IT team and Data Engineer to make necessary updates to data layers and marts.
* Select appropriate Artificial Intelligence tools for providing direct risk insights to underwriters.
* Work with Data Scientists to research, cleanse, analyze, visualize, and gain insights from external data sources.
* Assist the Data Analytics Manager in defining strategic data requirements for data consumption use cases, including:
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, document, analyze, and prioritize data requirements.
* Translating business needs into data analysis tasks.
* Creating high-quality deliverables, such as reporting specifications and visualizations.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess:
* Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques.
* Programming skills (Python skills are advantageous).
* Working knowledge of data science techniques.
* Demonstrable experience in data analysis and visualization, preferably within Insurance
* High proficiency in essential IT tools.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to break down complex requirements into manageable epics and technical user stories are advantageous.
* Familiarity with Azure data technology stack, including Data Factory, SQL, Synapse Analytics, and PowerBI, is a plus.
