Project Manager with Oracle ERP Experience - 6 Month Contract - Edinburgh - Inside Ir35 - £400p/d
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of Oracle ERP implementation projects for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Your expertise in project management and Oracle ERP will be essential in guiding the project team, managing resources, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timeline, resources, and deliverables for Oracle ERP implementation projects. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals. Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, and project milestones are achieved. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are not compromised. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are executed within the approved financial constraints. Status Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders, highlighting accomplishments, challenges, and potential deviations from the project plan. Change Management: Facilitate change management activities, ensuring smooth transitions for clients and end-users as they adopt Oracle ERP solutions. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet high standards and client expectations. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, meeting minutes, and other relevant artifacts. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lessons learned to enhance future project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proven track record of successfully managing Oracle ERP implementation projects from initiation to completion Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus Strong understanding of Oracle ERP systems, modules, and functionalities Proficient in project management methodologies and tools Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
