Senior Backend Developer
I am partnered with an award-winning digital agency located in Tunbridge Wells. The mission is to create innovative digital experiences for their clients. They are looking to fill a Senior Backend Developer position, the individual will be a fundamental part of the agency moving forward, growing with the business as they go from strength to strength.
They have just won significant business off the back of the incredible work they have achieved and are looking to increase the team size. You will have incredible opportunities to work with global brands.
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for using and training the team in a range of technologies to develop new website and application solutions and maintain and enhance existing solutions. Whilst the role is more weighted towards the Back End development, there will be times when you will be required to support aspects of Front End development.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Exceed client expectations, where possible, and support the more junior members of the Development team to achieve this goal.
- Meet deadlines set and communicate any issues in a timely way, with proposed solutions, should they arise.
- Anticipate and proactively manage risks throughout the project and flag them as appropriate
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, complex user journey concepts, and creative ideas, demonstrating the rationale and consideration
What they are looking for:
- A proven track record of successfully developing websites and applications
- Strong experience developing in C# with .NET (Core) and/or .NET Framework
- Knowledge of developing for a CMS, specifically Umbraco
- Knowledge of creating an API
- Knowledge of setting up a server to host a .NET application
- Experience deploying a .NET web application (IIS, CI/CD, Azure, AWS, Octopus, Deploy etc.)
- Experience working/integrating with databases, specifically SQL
What they are offering:
- Up to £55,000
- Hybrid working (1 day a week out of Tunbridge wells)
