Estates Senior Manager required to join a NHS Trust based in London, this is an onsite role and Inside IR35, rate negotiable.

JOB SUMMARY

• Responsible for the co-ordination of and the daily operation of the Estates department, managing and supervising the qualified and non-qualified trades staff in the provision of a planned preventative maintenance, responsive reactive maintenance and repair service to the hospital and associated community properties.
• The post holder will be the Mechanical engineering specialist within a small group of managerial/technical staff who manage and operate complex technical systems and processes across the Trust, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures and legislation and providing specialist advice to the Head of Operational Estates and Head of Estates and Capital Projects.
• Dependant on Head of Operational Estates' direction the post holder will lead all or some of key elements of this role and may be appointed to Named/Designated/Competent/Authorised person's roles in keeping with requirements laid down in Health Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health and Safety documentation.

Essential:

• NHS experience
• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related subject, or significant experience (5+ years) in similar role in NHS
