This is an exceptional career opportunity within an extensive end-to-end engineering and build program, aimed at establishing a cutting-edge Gigafactory for electric vehicle (EV) battery production in the United Kingdom. Backed by substantial funding, this innovative venture is set to generate thousands of jobs over the next five years. The Gigafactory is committed to Net Zero, and is poised to become a global leader in renewable energy manufacturing.
You will be part of this groundbreaking project from the outset, with a start date of January 2024. Key Project Manager roles are available across various disciplines, including a Site Masterplan project manager, so that the project is not backed into a corner and road layouts, future plans, logistics and the phased planning are on point, designed and managed.
Key Traits/experience required:
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management with site masterplans
- Strong project execution and a reputation for delivering on commitments.
- Background in managing large-scale projects in various sectors, including Batteries, Pharma, R&D, Hospitals, Large-scale Manufacturing, Aerospace, Semi-Conductors, Specialized Environments, or other large factory builds.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, evolving environment where processes and structures are being established.
Head office located in the Midlands, with the project site in the Southwest, south of Bristol. Interviews are being conducted promptly, and start dates are scheduled for January 2024. The compensation offered is £60,000 - £80,000+ per annum.
