Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Learning Content Designer for an initial 7 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £450-£475/day (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop training content based of source materials such as process maps, desk instructions, policy documents and operational guidance
- Work in partnership with Subject Matter Experts to create new, and improve existing Oracle Guided Learning interventions
- Support IBM knowledge transfer by documenting training sessions and adapting them for continuous development
- Maintaining learning repository of training materials based on IBM knowledge transfer sessions
- Develop and cultivate relationships with stakeholders
- Build collaborative relationships with external partners
- Point of contact for training enquiries
- Ensure continuous improvement of learning solution by actioning feedback and updated processes
- Provide fully effective handover of learning solutions
- Apply accessibility principles in creating training content
- Facilitate and deliver training
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge/experience of the finance elements of an Oracle ERP implementation, ideally with skills/experience of learning content creation and delivery.
- Experience of creating accessible (IT based) learning content
- Experience in delivery of complex/technical information to diverse audiences
- Excellent communication skills and evidence of effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Resilience and a flexible approach to work and the willingness to assist and support colleagues across a range of activities.
