Head of Infrastructure
I am currently recruiting for a Head of Infrastructure to join one of the largest Heath Care Businesses within the UK.
Along with the team you will have the autonomy to develop innovative solutions that help push the boundaries of technology in the health care space. You will leverage the cloud technologies to build a platform that spans across the entire world, allowing our carers to seamlessly operate across the world.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimisation of the company's critical IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability across all systems.
- Strategic Planning: Lead infrastructure strategy development and execution, staying ahead of industry trends and adopting best practices to support rapid organisational growth.
- Cloud Services Management: Direct tVendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Implement comprehensive disaster recovery strategies and business continuity plans to mitigate risk and ensure operational resilience.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), including migrations, deployments, and hybrid/multi-cloud operations.
- Strong understanding of mobile technology ecosystems, including Android and IOS.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale IT operations and implementing advanced technology solutions.
- Terraform (0.12.4+)
- Docker, AWS ECS and Kubernetes
