Our primary focus is on driving innovation in technology and business, particularly within the banking, insurance and financial services sector.

Position: Senior Pricing Analyst - Motor Insurance

Duration: 12 Months

Location: South East, England- Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate large volumes of motor insurance data from various sources.
• Statistical Modeling: Develop predictive models using Python to assess risk and create pricing models for motor insurance products.
• Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to recommend optimal pricing strategies.
• Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of existing pricing models and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
• Reporting: Generate clear and concise reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in motor insurance pricing or related areas within the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, particularly in data analysis libraries (eg, Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (eg, scikit-learn).
• Experience in insurance pricing, actuarial science, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of statistical modelling, regression analysis, and predictive modelling techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI) for creating impactful reports and presentations.
