This is an opportunity for a Java Software Engineer/Java Software Developer to join the Capital Markets Software Development, Front Office Development Team within this bank

We are seeking a mid-level software developer hire within its London based software development team.

Front Office software development team requires agile and versatile Java and Python Software developer to build in-house and PaaS cloud platform pricing and risk and trade capture applications.

Day to day of this role will include:-

• Development and support of bank's risk pricing, trade capture and STP software stack
• Develop scalable and accurate solutions to perform risks analysis, model implementation, trade booking and valuation, payments, settlements, and regulatory reporting

This is a really interesting role, within a thriving Front Office software development team where you will be given the opportunity to develop yourself and your skills on a day to day basis

Role requirements

• Strong modern Java
• Good familiarity with Python
• Excellent knowledge in computing algorithms, data structures and software design principles
• Previous exposure to investment banking. finance, trading domain
