DevOps Engineer Data Platform

We are in search of a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in working with Azure Cloud Data Platforms within Agile environments (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework). As an Azure DevOps Engineer in our Data Platform team, your primary responsibilities will include developing Infrastructure as Code on Azure, maintaining the Enterprise Data Lake, and assisting customers, including both business and development teams, in their onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Azure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Enterprise Data Lake.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Stewards, Data Analysts, and Data Citizens, providing seamless support to enable uninterrupted workflow for end-user teams.
• Focus on platform engineering, Azure Security & Networking, and participate in rotational operational duties to ensure the continuous operation of the platform.
• Embrace a growth mindset, remaining adaptable and ready to learn new Azure services as required.
• Actively engage in cross-functional teams through Chapter and Guild sessions, contributing to complex technical and organizational discussions.
• Prioritize creating usable, resilient, scalable, and secure solutions with a customer-first approach.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Scripting languages, specifically PowerShell and bash.
• Strong understanding of YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps (Git, Boards), and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Python and PowerBi, showcasing a diverse technical aptitude.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Active Directory & RBAC, Building and Consuming APIs (Azure Functions, App Services), and Azure Networking.
