Robert Half Technology have paired with the growing MSP, Kanj Technologies, in order to recruit an onsite IT Technical Engineer, to join the team.
The business They are a managed service provider, with clients based in England and overseas. They provide bespoke, high quality and in-depth IT solutions using Tier 1 vendors. (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, and VMWare).
They are hiring an IT Support Engineer to assist them with technical service support and projects. In turn they will assist the suitable candidate with your career growth through solid cloud, cyber and infra experience as well as cloud and systems accreditation. The businesses' core clients are in healthcare, financial, logistics and digital marketing. Kanj Technologies have five engineers in the UK and three engineers overseas working UK hours. They are ISO accredited in Information Security and Business Continuity and have Microsoft, AWS, and Cisco vendor partner status.
Role responsibilities:
- The role is based primarily supporting a client onsite across in Bridgwater with occasional secondary site support
- You would be part of a broader 8 person international team and their will be opportunities to broaden your exposure with other client projects.
- Onsite support would comprise of Windows based Laptops - builds and support. Audio Visual support, application, and network support. Azure AD, AVD and O365 stack, MS SharePoint and 3rd party application support on SAP ERP and SAP C4C etc.
- All of the above to be underpinned with a clear security improvement roadmap for the client.
- There are approx. 85 users ranging from Directors to call centre staff

- Knowledge and experience. Deepening your technical knowledge on differing IT disciplines (cloud, cyber, infra, networks) and broadening your experience of clients' IT environments and service delivery.
- Infrastructure and Cyber Security training.
Key Skills/experience:
- Proven technical support experience - ideally working for another MSP
- Motivation to learn and develop personal skills - The role is a busy role with multi-tasking across different technologies with the opportunity to be exposed to areas that you may not have had and developing deeper knowledge with technologies that you are familiar with.
- Deliver great customer service.
- Team work - liaising with UK project resource and international colleagues to ensure a high quality technical service is delivered.
Salary/logistics:
- £32,000-£35,000 per annum
- The position is full time (8am to 5pm UK time) with 4 weeks holiday and paid overtime for evenings and weekends
- The successful candidate must be willing to be on client sites primarily (1 day per week WFH)
- Having a full UK driver's license and car would be a necessity.
- This position is available immediately.
