Communiction Systems Engineer | Wales | SC Cleared/Clearable

Here at iO we are working with another of the UK's most exciting defence companies. Specialising in aerospace and communications, my client work on a number of projects that directly impact upon national security. The team are growing and on the lookout for a Communication System Engineer to join the team.

Due to the sensitive nature of the role, you will be required to be on fully on site in their Wales based office. Alongside a salary of up to £60,000 with a 10% bonus.

Due to the sensitive nature of the projects/work you will be supporting you will need hold active SC Clearance or be SC Clearable to be eligible for this role.

Your role will involve designing, deploying and maintaining secure solutions for land, air or naval operations.

If you have experience with the following then this could be the position for you,

• Supporting Secure Hosted Environments
• Working with Linux and Windows OS
• Virtualization with VMware
• Administrating ESXi & vCenter
• Using and integration of Radio Systems and Digital Data Links.

It would be brilliant but not essential if you have experience of,

• Strong understanding of Firewalls and cross domain solutions
