Job Title: Network Test Engineer

Flint UK is looking for a Network Test Engineer to join us on a contract basis to ensure the quality and security of the development produced by Digitata Networks.

Since the product developed by the supplier team directly instantiates intent on the build of the VMO2 RAN network, any defects can have a detrimental effect on network quality so we need to maintain quality and ensure we have an auditable record for compliance against ISO standards.

Excellent communication skill (both written and verbal)

Hard Technical Skills

Develop ability to identify and realise improvement opportunities

Good networking skill (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP and IGP)

Understanding of workflow engines eg Apache Airflow

Good Python coding skills

Working knowledge NETCONF/REST/RESTCONF/SOAP

Working knowledge of Source control tools (GitLab)

Ability to work from Jira story tickets

Working appreciation of agile methodologies (scrum)

Monitoring/reporting of tests; Metric to capture test coverage and failure rate (using tools such as HipTest, Test Rail, etc.)

Embrace CI/CD Methodology

Experience of Unit Testing, regression testing, integration Testing, Acceptance testing Security Testing and Performance testing using automation tools (eg Robot Framework)
