Harris Global are currently looking for a Data Engineering Team Lead to join our global client on a permanent basis. You will possess strong AWS, Databricks and Python skills and be passionate about all things data!

Key skills will include:

• Significant professional work experience.
• Confidence to lead and mentor all levels of developers.
• Expert in Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Data Science experience R, ML, AI.
• Databases: SQL and No-SQL - Aurora, MS SQL Server, MySQL
• Experience with scrum, TDD, BDD, Pairing, Pull Requests, Continuous Integration & Delivery.
• OO experience, design patterns, SOLID principles.
• Continuous Integration tools - Github, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar.
• Infrastructure as code - Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation or similar.
• Strong experience with Cloud Platforms - AWS, Azure.

Our client have recently moved to a 4.5 day working week and promote flexi-working so the role can be fully remote with occasional travel to the office for team meetings and socials.
