Financial Reporting Manager

Permanent

Heston - (Hybrid/3 days onsite)

Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a well reputable organisation based in Heston who are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their organisation

Your activities will involve:

  • Full monthly Central P&L reporting and analysis
  • Monthly reporting internal management packs are prepared and ready for FC review well ahead of monthly P&L close meetings
  • Business partner with regional/departmental heads to gain thorough understanding of numbers to be able to provide meaningful analysis on results
  • SAP management and reporting
  • Change management eg PowerBI dashboards
  • Central finance reporting on overheads is produced accurately and on time with analysis of each area which can then be communicated to FC/CFO/CEO and budget holders
  • Management of Balance Sheet eg VAT/payroll accruals, bad debt etc.; Legacy Balances cleared in full; on relate to present period
  • Preparation of presentations for various reporting periods
  • Ensuring focus is placed on balance sheet reconciliations and issues identified and escalated/resolved and generate a monthly report to FC on high-risk areas
  • Ensure journals posted have necessary narrative and backing
  • Key eye for detail and process improvements
  • Lead Budget/Forecast process for Central finance
  • Support audit and statutory accounts production
  • Maintain an organised documented system for financial reporting files

Skills required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3 years minimum post qualified experience
  • IFRS experience
  • Commercial awareness
  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook)
  • Audit exposure
  • Ability to work under pressure and be organised to meet tight deadlines
  • Process improvements experience
