Required for an onsite one year contract in Stockholm, Sweden, a Chemical Specialist with a regulatory background and experience of chemical products.

Main responsibilities:

• Research requirements for chemical products to enable expansion for new markets and new products.
• Monitor legal requirements in existing sales markets for chemical products (eg candles, room scents, shoe polish, glue) regarding product authority reporting.
• Monitor legal requirements in existing sales markets for chemical and cosmetic products regarding ingredient authority reporting (eg REACH, nano).
• REACH Compliance & other ingredient reporting for cosmetic & chemical products.
• Product and Online labelling requirements for chemical products.
• Transform complex regulatory requirements into user-friendly information and guidelines in order to enable compliance.
• Cooperate, support and train colleagues and other stakeholders to reach desired results.

Technical skills

• Hold a degree in chemistry, toxicology or similar with at least two years of work experience within the chemical products field and compliance.
• Knowledge and experience within the CLP regulation, REACH regulation and Biocidal Products Regulation.
• Fluent in English
