Job Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hertford (hybrid working)

Salary - £50-60,000 per annum + bonus + package

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Hertfordshire based business. In this role you will be responsible for network and server hardware across the estate, and manage the design, implementation, and optimisation the IT infrastructure set up.

The Role

• Manage and update the whole IT Infrastructure
• Configure and manage Servers, VM's, Storage and Network equipment
• Responsible for cyber security for the site
• Monitor, maintain and optimise infrastructure capacity, performance, and security
• Provide regular systems and security status reports
• Document project technical specification and design
• Design, implement, migrate, and maintain software systems related to networks and security (AD, DNS, DHCP etc)
• Design and manage a Hyper-V/Cluster environment and also an Azure infrastructure and their security

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong technical skills in network hardware (Fortinet, Sophos, HP/Aruba, Meraki, Cisco)
• Cyber security knowledge, including pen testing ideally
• Strong knowledge of the design and management of security systems including network monitoring tools
• Experience with Azure hosted environments
• Experience with Windows Servers, Miradore/Intune/MDM, SolarWinds, VOIP, and VPNs
• Comfortable as the focal point of contact for all things IT infrastructure
