Position: Teamcenter Support Consultant and Developer
Company: Major UK-Based Supplier of Defence Equipment
Location: Hybrid Role 1-2 days onsite presence per week in either Edinburgh, Luton, Basildon, and Southampton.
Duration: Initially 3 months
Rate £450 p/d inside IR35
About Us: Our client is a leading supplier of defence-related equipment based in the UK. Who have recently implemented Siemens Teamcenter as our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool and are expanding our support team with a dedicated Teamcenter Support Consultant. This role plays a crucial part in collaborating with our 3rd line fix team, guiding them, and working closely with users to enhance our support capabilities. If you're an experienced Teamcenter professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a second to third-line Teamcenter support consultant and developer.
- Investigate and diagnose user-reported issues, following triage by the helpdesk.
- Devise workarounds and solutions for issues, thoroughly document them, and collaborate with our dedicated 3rd line fix team until the problem is resolved.
- Possess a deep understanding of Siemens Teamcenter, both from a user's perspective and in terms of configuration and data management, ideally gained through experience on a development project.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with users, comprehend their issues, explore solutions, and guide our client's development team on resolution options.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid role, with an expected onsite presence of 1-2 days per week, potentially more to establish relationships and maintain a visible presence.
- Location flexibility, with a willingness to travel to multiple sites.
- Users are situated across various sites, with the support team primarily based in Edinburgh, covering sites in Edinburgh, Luton, Basildon, and Southampton.
- Candidate is required to be BPSS cleared, and no other government clearances are necessary.
