Cloud Software or Applications Architect from a strong Machine Learning background currently required by my extremely well known client.

My client are currently looking for a Software Engineering Architect with experience of technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across my clients group to define and vision and direction for their wider team.

You must have a good understanding of Machine Learning concepts and how these technologies can be applied.

This is a hands-on Engineering lead role - so you will be involved in the design and development of new microservices and API's within an Java - Kotlin - Python environment.

You will also be familiar with Cloud technologies such as;

• Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP or Azure
• Cloud native applications including Docker and Kubernetes
• Continuous Integration and Deployment technologies
• Data Stores including Elasticsearch, SQL, NoSQL
• Security inc Service mesh, RBAC, IAM etc.
• And cloud cost management.

Familiarity of a big data environment would be advantageous but not essential.

Essentially you will have at least 5 years experience of building and supporting Cloud native applications or services running on Kubernetes.

This is an exciting new role for my client and one which could influence a large division of the business. It would suit someone with a mix of technical and leadership skills who is passionate about the level of service they provide, and new technologies.

My client are a large organisation with offices around the world. This is a hybrid role with the right person able to spend 2-3 days a week in the London HQ and the remainder from home.

My client are flexible on salary dep on experience but are ideally looking to pay between £95,000 - £110,000 + a great bonus, pension and healthcare package.
